Our Trip to Nashville

You gotta love these pics. We used to take them all the time when we were dating. Obviously, we're a little rusty on getting it centered.

Sunday we visited The Hermitage, Andrew Jackson's home/plantation (both before & after his presidency). I love this kind of stuff. This is taken at the front of the path leading to the mansion. Can't you just imagine the buggys riding up to the house?

The gravesite of Andrew & Rachel Jackson, in "Rachel's Garden" on the side of the mansion.

Downtown Nashville by a statute near Fort Nashborough along the river.

Now we're getting better! On the way home on Monday, we stopped at Mammoth Cave National Park. We didn't really think ahead enough to realize that this park is an all-day event, so we didn't go on any tours of the caves.

We did take a walk on a walking path that was wheelchair friendly. Yeah, that was exciting.

When we got home, we took a few pictures of Papa & Grandma with the kids. Everyone was still alive when we got home, but the babysitters looked pretty worn out!

Chris Graduates with a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary: May 19, 2006

It's taken me long enough to upload all of these pictures, so pardon me for not putting a caption with each one.

This one's for my siblings. They'll get it.

Well, maybe this one deserves a comment. It looks like we inserted the straw into the photo, but we didn't. This was just taken at a wierd angle. It makes my dad look really goofy.
